even more NEW SONGS UP
new songs up part deux...
we finally recorded (on cassette tape, long live lo-fi!) the song "red line downtown" -- the newer song we played last in our live sets.
we also re-recorded "you greek soldier with no armor" with vocals and everythang (but still on cassette tape). here's a sneak peak into our recording studio:
and if you haven't noticed, our good friend hever of the Mexican Fuck Face Syndicate® has designed our logo/image. oooh la laaaaaaa

we have all been super buzy and have put music on the back burner, but with time freeing up we will be rocking the house again. New shows, song , videos and a new E.p. will hopefully on the way very soon.

the new songs approach
ever since our back to back shows, we've been aching to play again... THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT TO SUPPORT!

heads up on Silver Lake traffic tonight
Depending on which direction you're coming from, traffic might be unpredictable through Silver Lake (towards Echo Park).
There is a Prop 8 demonstration meeting up at 6:00 pm on the corner of the intersection of Sunset & Santa Monica Blvd (Sunset Junction) and will be marching through Silver Lake. There's also the Silver Lake Art Crawl, so traffic might get thick, might not... but it's best to be prepared!
Tonight's show starts at 9-ish, so we hope to see you there!

THE MILES APPROACH + DIRT DRESS + DOWNTOWN / UNION + BASTIDAS
THE MILES APPROACH killed us dead the first time they played here, mixing raw pop rock with smooth harmonies and sweet sweet keyboard blasts. We can only imagine what they have evolved into over the last couple of months. BASTIDAS return to prove that the power trio is still the best way to perform spaced out garage rock, which is only enhanced by their light show and their machine of a drummer. We haven't met the other two acts but we're pretty darn psyched, cuz if MILES likes 'em, they gotta be good.
